Cara Babon

Speech-Language Pathologist

Cara Babon, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Interdisciplinary Center for Evaluation and Intervention. She has worked with children and families since 2002 and brings extensive experience in pediatric speech-language evaluation and intervention across school-based, outpatient, and hospital settings. Her primary areas of clinical expertise include the evaluation and treatment of the pediatric population, with specialized experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), autism, and developmental delay.

In addition to her work as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Cara has served as clinical faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Florida, where she provided clinical instruction and mentorship to graduate students in speech-language pathology.

Cara has worked closely with multiple school districts to support the implementation of evidence-based practices within classrooms and intervention programs. Her collaborative approach emphasizes practical, individualized strategies that promote meaningful communication, participation, and improved outcomes for children and their families.
