Who can Receive Services from ICEI

ICEI accepts referrals for students who are between the ages of 3 and 22, who have not yet completed high school, and who have one or more of the following:

  • Intense challenging behaviors that have not responded to behavioral interventions or strategies
  • Behaviors/characteristics that indicate a need for an autism spectrum disorder evaluation
  • Severe and/or complex educational, emotional, and developmental challenges

Requesting a Referral

Referrals can be completed by school districts, state/local agencies, and caregivers/parents. The referral process will include gathering information about the student’s educational background, current and prior interventions, prior evaluations, and medical history.
