Nycole Kauk, PhD

School Psychologist/Behavior Analyst

Dr. Nycole Kauk is a Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) at the University of South Florida’s Interdisciplinary Center for Evaluation and Intervention. She earned her PhD in School Psychology from the University of South Florida, specializing in behavioral family interventions and evidence-based assessment and intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities. Since 2008, Dr. Kauk has worked with individuals with disabilities, their families, and school and community-based teams.

Her clinical work includes psychological and developmental evaluations, school-based consultation, behavioral and academic interventions, executive functioning and skills-based supports, and parent and family coaching. Dr. Kauk has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with autism, ADHD, anxiety and mood-related concerns, behavioral and academic challenges, executive functioning difficulties, and adaptive skill needs. Her work emphasizes practical, evidence-based strategies that promote successful functioning across home, school, community, and into adult life settings.

Dr. Kauk’s professional and research interests include assessment and intervention for autism and ADHD, school- and community-based supports for individuals with developmental disabilities, executive functioning and transition-to-adulthood services, progress monitoring and behavioral assessment, and family-system interventions for children and adolescents with challenging behaviors. She is particularly interested in translating evidence-based practices into practical tools that promote independence, participation, and quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.
