Psychologist/Behavior Analyst

Dr. Erfanian is a Florida licensed psychologist and a board certified behavior analyst. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 1995. She completed her residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center with special focus in Pediatric Psychology and medical issues impacting children’s development as well as Developmental Disabilities. Her academic training has had a special focus in behavioral methods of evaluation and intervention with children and families. Dr. Erfanian has over 20 years of experience working with children and families experiencing a wide range of concerns such as disruptive behaviors, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, residential facilities, homes, community centers and medical clinics including the Mayo clinic. Her teaching experience has been with undergraduate psychology students for courses related to behavior modification and developmental psychology as well as supervision of Master’s and Doctoral Psychology students in their practicum experiences. Dr. Erfanian previously served as the Tampa, Florida Site Coordinator for a federally funded grant project evaluating the national effectiveness of the First Step to Success program which is a positive behavior intervention for children at risk for academic and social problems.
